My first memories of David were as a child watching him on numerous occasions sorting out plumbing issues for my late parents. Later on I served alongside him in Stokesley Fire Service. In 2022 when moving back to the area, by pure chance David was my next door neighbour. I will always remember his unique and dry sense of humour that remained with him. We could not have asked for a more helpful neighbour. We will miss him next door to us. Rest in peace David

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
